Opening last night, at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, of the exhibition Trompe l’oeil (Trick the eye) spread upon twelve themes, more than 400 objects and curated by Véronique Belloir.

Last thursday at the opening of Babar’s exposition at Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, i found that Babar (in fact his suit) had made the cover of Jardin des Modes, it was in 1931…
Jean Paul Goude is, for me, les Kodakettes, the man behind the Bicentenary of the French Revolution on les Champs-Elysées, the man who discover Grace Jones. I remember all this moments, they were pure magic. As an other « JPG » (Jean-Paul Gaultier), Jean-Paul Goude is a major artist for me.
It’s a precious time where students can work on exciting projects and met rising designers (Jasper Sinchai Chadprajong, Lucille Puton and Christine Phung) but also the french illustrator Aurore de la Morinerie.

Last year i followed the fashion masterclass organized by Arts of Fashion Foundation and held at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. Nathalie has asked me to be part of the team again, the pleasure was mine.
J’ai passé mon dimanche après-midi en compagnie de Myriam qui m’accordait une visite guidée et personnelle de l’exposition « Histoire idéale de la mode contemporaine vol. I : 70-80″. Outre le fait qu’en une heure ma culture mode à fait un bond, j’ai découvert Marc Audibet (lire cette intéressante interview) et Sybilla, « l’héritière de Balenciaga » deux créateurs majeurs dont je n’avais jamais entendu parler (shame on me !), j’ai aussi noté un parallèle amusant entre Gareth Pugh et Popy Moreni. Tous deux sont des adeptes de la fraise, cet élement ornemental du costume apparu à la Renaissance…

Now the project (quite conceptual) is nearly complete, the evolution since my first coming is huge and what surprise me more is the diversity.
