Exhumed from my old office, this 1993 International Festival of Fashion and Photography Hyères’ program (then called European Exhibition of Young Designers). This year competed six futures stars of fashion design: Cyd Jouny, Tony Delcampe, Karine Arabian, Marc Le Bihan, Xavier Delcourt, Viktor Snoeren and Rolf Horsting (aka Viktor & Rolf, winners of this edition).
Jean Paul Goude is, for me, les Kodakettes, the man behind the Bicentenary of the French Revolution on les Champs-Elysées, the man who discover Grace Jones. I remember all this moments, they were pure magic. As an other « JPG » (Jean-Paul Gaultier), Jean-Paul Goude is a major artist for me.
