Transmission de connaissances entre l’équipe pédagogique dirigée par Walter Van Bereindonck et les étudiants de la Royal Academy of Fine Arts d’Anvers. Ce Show Off #4 présente les travaux de l’ensemble des étudiants (quatre années) de l’école flamande.
La manifestation se déroule pendant 3 jours (le défilé dure plus de deux heures) pour un total de 6000 visiteurs! Un vrai spectacle dans une ville qui vit mode.

Heritage — Merry Xmas to… me. Since i was introduced in watchmaking, two years ago, during Salon des Belles montres i develop a passion for these objects. Thanks Jean-Yves Mariez, a friend of mine, watches designer, who introduced me to this world. Thanks to Van Cleef & Arpels who help us discover the high end of this world, thanks to this reporter i met one day and who collects more than 500 watches (from Toy Watch to Vacheron-Constantin!) and thanks to the precious advices of Nicolas.
Santa brings me this vintage watch triple calendar moon phase. I really love the models of this era (circa 1950) and this Fortis will now nicely pair with my 1952 Omega. To be continued…
Paris Fashion week— I discover Rupert Sanderson shoes during the last Paris fashion week. I don’t know if the girl in her devilish dress walking around the new parisian boutique of Sanderson is responsible but from the moment i saw those shoes i tought that they will be perfect with the über-feminine clothes of the french london-based designer Roland Mouret. It was not a suprise then when i learn that the two of them were good friends…
