Paris Fashion week— I discover Rupert Sanderson shoes during the last Paris fashion week. I don’t know if the girl in her devilish dress walking around the new parisian boutique of Sanderson is responsible but from the moment i saw those shoes i tought that they will be perfect with the über-feminine clothes of the french london-based designer Roland Mouret. It was not a suprise then when i learn that the two of them were good friends…

The study found that families here making over $180,000 annually spent an average of $28,000 on luxury goods for the year-more than residents in the same income bracket in Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen.
But with greater expansion comes the risk of brand dilution outside the main cities, as well. Some companies are trying to prevent this by creating special lines in conjunction with famous Chinese artists to generate buzz and maintain their edge in exclusivity.
Also, these consumers are developing more sophisticated tastes, increasingly preferring the harder-to-get Diane von Furstenberg to Louis Vuitton.

Pendant les trois jours de fashion week à Porto, cette jeune femme, Fiona Bunnett, était assise à côté de moi. J’avoue que je ne le connaissais ni d’Eve ni d’Adam avant que Caroline ne me dise qui elle était. C’est alors que je compris que le front row d’en face n’avait d’yeux que pour elle et pas moi (hum…).

Porto Fashion Week, spring summer 2010— For his 15th anniversary the Portugal Fashion week took place at Alfândega de Porto, a wide building, divided in two spaces for the week-end.
I used to work in Porto during 3 years, making little trips during the making of the collections. I really fell in love with portuguese language and the city during this time, it was a pleasure to get back in town then.
Paris Fashion Week— At the end of the Rochas show, my thought was not to talk about it as i found nothing interesting with it…
During a fashion week, there is plenty of shows and of course you don’t found all them interesting. There is the favorites and those which let indifferent. Then come the times when you « have time ». You open your beloved photo management software and browse your 5K (!) fashion week photos, then come (sometimes) the pleasant surprise.
Au sortir du défilé, il y avait peu de chances que j’ai envie de publier quoi que ce soit sur cette collection.

Paris Fashion week— La journée avait été riche en défilés et rencontres diverses et nous nous rendions à une de ces nombreuses fêtes qui ont pris place à Paris pendant la semaine des défilés. Irina Lazareanu, actuelle égérie de la campagne Lanvin loves H&M, devait interpréter live quelques morceaux qui lui sont chers (à ne manquer sous aucun pretexte donc), elle sera rejoint par Lou Doillon et Olivier Zahm un peu plus tard dans la soirée.
We saw many fashion show and meet nice people during that day. At noon we was walking to one of this many parties that took place in Paris during Fashion Week. Irina Lazareanu, current face of Lanvin Loves H&M campaign, had to interpret some rock songs tonight and i don’t want to miss that ! Plus Lou Doillon and Olivier Zahm will join her later !
Paris Fashion Week— Premier défilé AVH et première rencontre avec la créatrice, qui se révèle être disponible voire timide, tout le contraire de ce que j’imaginais… Un show que j’avais hâte de voir, les créations d’Anne Valérie m’interpellent depuis des années, non soumise au diktat de la tendance, pas has-been, elle crée des vêtements possédant une certaine singularité.
Paris Fashion Week— This is my first AVH’s show and my first mini-interview of the designer. She’s available and even seems a bit shy (it’s just after the show, the stress is still here). She’s the opposite of what i thought.
Inspiration— Des dizaines de mètres de tissu pour apparaître tantôt en fleur, tantôt en papillon, tantôt en méduse abyssale. La comédienne et danseuse Loie Fuller subjuguera les foules pendant des années avec sa chorégraphie bien singulière. Au détour du web, cette nuit, j’ai mis la main sur cette Danse serpentine, une vidéo, source d’inspirations à partager absolument.
Inspiration— Sometimes a flower, sometimes a butterfly, sometimes a jellyfish from the abyss. Using tens meters of fabric the actress and dancer Loie Fuller subjugate the masses for years with his unique choreography. Browsing the web tonight, I found this « Serpentine dance », an hypnotic video, source of inspiration to share immediatly.
