Stripes ! Rayures !
A future star, Anthony Vaccarello, Paris based fashion designer (born in Belgium), former Fendi fur fashion designer and winner of Festival International de la Mode d’Hyeres 2006 (Grand Prix) taught(1) his techniques of working to the students of the Arts of Fashion summer class.
Une future star, Anthony Vaccarello, fashion designer passé chez Fendi (atelier fourrure) et vainqueur du Grand prix du jury au Festival International de la mode d’Hyères en 2006, transmet(1) son savoir au étudiants de Arts of Fashion.
It was very graphic, so i made a couple of close up of the stripes applied on the dummies. Some of these stripes even reminds me the Eiffel tower mesh or the Union Jack flag (i know my imagination have no limits ahem…).
Ayant aimé le jeu graphique fait par ces bandelettes sur les mannequins j’ai décidé d’en faire une petite série (composé exclusivement de plans très sérrés). Mon imagination y à même vu le maillage de la Tour Eiffel ou le drapeau de l’Union Jack.
These stripes are embellished with pearls, beads, knitting, organza, tulle… Before becoming gorgeous dresses.
Ces bandelettes forment des rayures qui vont être agrémentées de perles, de pièces au crochet, d’organza et de tulle… Avant de devenir de précieuses robes.
